SELF DEFENSE TIPS

We live in a dangerous city and a crazy world at times. Taking self-defense classes – great, having to carry a gun – WOW hope it ain’t that bad, but here are some quick-fix tips on how to stay safe – stay alive.

We’ve been outfitted with the best defense mechanism ever designed – our gut feeling.

First rule: NEVER DISMISS THAT FEELING THAT SOMETHING JUST ISN’T RIGHT.

Even Bruce Lee and Kimbo would be done if they were bound or restrained with handcuffs, ropes, tape…

The key is to be preemptive.

Borrowing that you are not knocked out or drugged from jump, you will always have a window of opportunity to turn the tables on your attacker.

Basic Scenario:

You are walking to your car in a secluded parking structure. What does your gut say?

DANGER!

If you do not have the option of turning around and finding assistance to your car, place your key(s) between your fingers and make a fist.

Have presence of mind:

I could die in the next few moments and I am going to take some souvenirs with me.

Think this – Believe this.

Your body language will change – your vibe will change.

You are not prey, but a wild animal that will scratch, bite, gouge to take your next breath.

Don’t wait for the person(s) to come up on you from behind. If you cannot make it to your car, unlock it and get in before the person(s) is up on you, turn to face them and prepare to go berserk.

You have one chance, so make it FINAL.

Go for soft tissue areas: eyes, nose, groin and/or throat.

You have four limbs use them all.

I believe in making sure they are not getting back up to continue the attack. After which you can flee and call authorities.

I know… this sounds crazy, but crazy can save your life!
