These stories, while fictional, have an inseparable connection to living and dating in Los Angeles.
Drawing from my love for Hip Hop, pulling from my years in the ring as a competitive fighter, and the joy of sharing my stories, this is a culmination of life through my eyes as a writer/fighter.
Born in Denver, Colorado, raised in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, my West Indian roots by way of my Guyanese Father, and my kick-ass creed by way of my rebel Mother, you can say I’ve been flavored along the way.
I started competing in sanctioned fights some seven years ago in Olympic style Tae Kwon Do. Before earning my Black Belt, I was a National Champion. As a Black belt I have fought in local, state, and International – full contact tournaments.
“A Day In The Life Of A Female Fighter” is slated to be the next release by Action Fiction Publishing.
I created my own publishing company simply because I got tired of being told “NO”.
Vanity publishers often want up to 80% of sales, many times the big publishing houses sit on books for 18-months after signing an author and after too many years of having those “Hollywood” doors closed in my face… I had to get my stories out BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
I write to thrill, shock and ultimately leave a resonating impression.
So if you like the long pontificating novels that showcase an author’s thesaurus using abilities, my “jab-jab-cross” writing style may knock you for a loop.
My creative goal is to… WOW you inside my world!
